When I met Trish McCarthy in 2013, she talked so passionately about the kids and teenagers they were teaching at StarShine that when I had the opportunity I went for a visit (by the way, walls are painted in Disney® Blue as I was told when I asked) and I had the incredible chance to talk to the seniors and juniors who amazingly were from different countries and were not going through the best of times; but that all changed in StarShine.

Reassessing your Performance on 2015!

When O had the chance to my live show only three days before the new year, I decided to help everyone do a review of the year as it came to an end. In our FocalPoint Coaching term we call it: Stop and Reassess.

So we entered the final week of the year and as always, it was extremely important that we all see where we were and what we achieved during the year, understand what worked and what can be improved. And best of all, to start with more strength and energy the new year.

If we evaluate what we did we can be assured we can continuously improve. By doing this, we can understand everything we did to get us to the particular point in which we are today.

 

Stop and reassess is a very interesting concept that we use in our FocalPoint Coaching practice and it which allows us to review where we all are, something particularly important at the end of a year or after finishing a very important task. 

For all of us, as we ended 2015, it required evaluating what you we did, if we achieved our gals and our plans, and all the actions we implemented. Once we do this, we have a new and more clear focus of where we want to go.

An ARMONIA-EMMY Experience, on how to transform Poverty!

The year 2015 was a transformational year for many people and I had the opportunity to talk, meet and be with many different people in many different places, one of them being Oaxaca, Mexico. 

For me, 2015 started with the trip that a group of entrepreneurs during the first week of January to the city of Oaxaca, Mexico, with the International Entrepreneur Foundation and the National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers. Our Mission was to teach ‘entrepreneurship’ to the teens at ARMONIA while helping them build an Entrepreneurial Center. 

Not only did we have a learning experience on our own; it led to the making of a wonderful documentary “ARMONIA: Together Transforming Poverty into LIFE!”.

The weekend of Dec. 05 the whole ARMONIA Documentary team gathered in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., as the documentary was nominated for an EMMY Award. It, of course, leads to new and even greater opportunities for so many people around the world who live in poverty and can have a better future. It is a new approach to end Poverty, as the late Dr. Saul Cruz explained.
